Prof Debarati is a fellow of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta with a major in Finance and Control.Prof Debarati's broad research interests include accounting, corporate governance, corporate finance, corporate social responsibility and organization structures. Her work largely focuses on financial reporting and governance within the context of business groups like structures. Her work has been published in refereed journals like Journal of contemporary Accounting and Economics, Global Business Review and Finance India and has been presented at reputed conferences across the world. During her spare time, she enjoys travelling, reading and playing multiple sports.
